the water is tasting like rhubarb

waking up at 4 am today was totally cool.  just like the day before at 2:30 am, which was rad.

ready for swimming holes to cool my heels!  don't now if i'll find any sweet watering spots to splash around in but we do have a sweet getaway trip/ reunion planned this weekend with c and the kidz, mini-trip to wisconsin!

Below is an old photo (2004) by C of your's truly and Luke the one half of whom we're on our way to see come Saturday!  Luke and Risa are da' best.  So stoked, my mom! (inside joke)  Pretty lucky they'll be close by enough while they're visiting the Mid-West that we get a chance to see them.  It's been a year!  Last June we saw them on our way to LA from Portland, Oregon.  When we rode thru SF...  Anyway looking forward to more Mid-Western adventures as we leave for Wisconsin to see Luke and Risa Saturday afternoonz.
