Prairie Sage

Thanks to everyone who came out in the heat for the class and Billie Willie and the Nature Center for their complete graciousness.  The kids and parents were amazing and also did such good drawings, I wish I had more photos of that.  The last photo is of Prairie Sage.  The rest is of plants encountered along the trail taken from my day before walk to see how everything was doing.  I ended up doing the walk on two separate days one pictured in the last plant post and then the day before to be prepared for the actual final walk that was on Sunday, it was so nice to be outside!  Also, Enoch's rendering of the plants he chose, my notes for the Native Plant walk and source of inspiration from just a few of my reference books pictured above.  So anyhow, thanks for lookin'.  I hope the class attendees had a good time...  They were totally great.
