Prickly Pear for Emma

Here is a necklace I made for a trade with Emma.  She mailed me a beautiful hanging pot she had made.  The Prickly Pear necklace is sealed with a glaze beeswax, palm wax, coconut oil and copal- making the wax was quite the experiment but I definitely enjoyed it.  The wooden beads are from a stick my husband and I found near our house and he shaped and sanded away so I could paint a little something and I sealed it with the wax.  The string on the necklace is dyed w/ onion skin.  I hope she will get some wear out of it:)  Anyhow, had fun making it!  Her tumblr is beautiful and she is the sweetest:•))))
Been working dutifully on a couple things and a few things finished.  More soon.
