Falling Into Place

Plant and Mineral Guide from LSK:))

Print from LSK here.

Recently did a trade with Lauren.  Photo from her instagram.

Sewed a linen curtain with polka dot window.

Paper from Bree!

Wilting lilacs.

Screened in porch and garden coming along.

Our new house last week, when the sun was out.  Since then we've torn out the evergreen bush, moved the whiskey barrel, built raised beds that need dirt and removed the lava rocks:)

Drawing by Gabi Villaseñor and nice things in the mail from Raquel Dia

Kitchen slowly but surely coming round (print by Jessica Williams:->)

Failed batch of Dandelion.  Maybe try Rhubarb Dandelion instead?

Awesome package from MK:)
Well, I'm not gonna lie.  Things have been tough, but fun.  Moving and having 2 kids is exhausting.  Also being somewhere that can feel somewhat isolating at times is kind of scary.  I've never been pregnant so far from support from friends.  Missing my old pals very much so.  Wondering how can I convey all that in a photograph.  Lately even my pictures seem out of focus or off somehow.  Working through this is of utmost importance to me so.  I'm starting a little project or two, for myself.  To feel squared away.  I've taken two small falls and been clumsy as hell.  Looking forward to holding the baby come August which is my birthday month too.  We'll see...

I am so feeling for you!!! Moving really is the worst. But your place looks so great and cozy and totally coming together! Love the house! the porch! The artwork! ;) Making it your own for sure.

Please be careful with that baby on board - no more falls - can't wait to see a pic of the newest smallest...and your new projects...xoxoxo

Hi Bree! Thanks for the encouragement! Because I'm here all the time it can feel like a list of projects instead of home:) So good to hear you can relate to my moving woes<3 Doing my best to buck up, ha.

And yes, I'll try to not do so much and end up with my legs going in two directions! I'll be posting when she comes and the projects in between then and now.
xo!!

beautiful!

part of the beauty is stumbling through everything, hitting a wall, getting back up, not knowing, and keep going, feeling alone and finding connection... there is beauty in that for sure!

so happy we are friends
xo to you
