Planted a tomatillo, I have to cat guard all the plants with sticks so she doesn't eat and lay in them:) - good for the wind too, it's the prairie here and things get wind whipped fast.

It's Friday and this weekend we are catching up on some planting in our garden and going swimming.  Happy weekend! :)

From Left:  Blue Green Elisse on Elderberry Tinted String, Open Angle, Catwatcher, Sea of Carnations in Blue w/ Elderberry Tint on string,  Inverse Nopalli  and last up top center Sea of Carnations in Soft green w/ Onion skin dyed string.  : )

More of a full preview but here you go, 10 necklaces in total, some with unbleached cotton twine tinted in elderberry juice others with onion skin or plain.  Hope you enjoy!  I'm working on getting these into the shop soon and taking more photos.  Thanks for looking.  Happy Tuesday to you.  :D

Onion Skin Dye and Elderberry Dye

 Dyed the canvas with onion skin...  Dyed the unbleached cotton cords for necklaces with onion skins and elderberry.  The results are interesting.

The color of the orange is reminiscent of the Strawberry Moon.  And speaking of Strawberry Moons...  A fine Lunar Eclipse Day is wished to you : )  Here's to mysterious and contemplative times<3
