Shadows and Light

A few years ago I  had a 'store' that went by the name of Grandma Candle focused on dream pillows, beeswax candles and magical herb formulas. With a background also in screenprinting and film I started feelin' a tad stifled. One year ago before sleep an image in my mind for a new shop was of an old dress pocket dug up from the ground with ancient relics inside. And I dreamt the embroidered words "Ancient Pocket" were being carefully put by my husband on a foliage covered shelf appearing out of a hedge.

With a lighted silhouette of a loving couple a photo in a natural setting and a starry landscape.  I took the photo about twenty times in my backyard in July. It almost didn't happen.

Ha, ha.

Chilly here in Portland, Oregon. As I type the wind seems to be dying, first frosts came a week ago.  Not a "cold-weather girl" as a good friend of mine says, but doing my best to make the most out of time spent indoors.

If you were a sea creature, which would you be. Seahorses are my first choice. Thanks little man!
